I don’t know if its because people are finally waking up and noticing his amazing illustrations and style, but Mike Giant’s illustration has yet again been bitten. Though not from a large corporation as Synthesis’ last bitters post, this imitation is less than flattering. Apparently on Mathew McDonald’s portfolio web page, his ‘Art Director’ skills include directing where to find other people’s artwork and claim them as his own. I give it to McDonald though for his subliminal website title (as seen at the top of your browser when on his page) Chewy Lives!, which is very appropriate for the styles he chews on.
